Cedar Hills Ready!
Urban Wildfire: Protecting your home this Summer
Disasters Won’t Stop Because There’s a Pandemic: How Can We Prepare?
"Urban Wildfire: Protecting your home this Summer" A free program by Cedar Hills Ready! & TVF&R (presented 7/28/21)
Remember last year’s wildfires and evacuations? The Summer has started, and we live in a beautiful wooded community, vulnerable to fire that could spread rapidly in a hot, windy environment. Learn about the Wildland-Urban Interface, how fires spread in heavily wooded neighborhoods, how to prepare your yard and house for the season, and how to put together emergency evacuation kits in case the worst happens. Cedar Hills Ready! and the Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue present an hour-long discussion of these topics. Click on the YouTube video below to view this presentation.
