Cedar Hills Ready!
Family Emergency Plan Workshop
Disasters Won’t Stop Because There’s a Pandemic: How Can We Prepare?
Be Ready! Family Emergency Plan Workshop
Where will you go if you need to evacuate with a moment's notice? How will you contact your family members? Where will you meet them? Find out how to put together a family emergency plan and get the tools you need to pull together your important documents. During this workshop, lead by Barbara Bracken of Tualatin Neighborhood Ready!, you'll have an opportunity to start filling out your family emergency plan. Print this worksheet before you start the video so you can get the most out of this workshop: https://tinyurl.com/evac-plan-wksht
We've divided the workshop into two parts to make it easy for you to build your plan and help you navigate to the right part. In the first part, we talk about the 3 evacuation levels--Ready, Set and Go--and what you need to plan for at each stage. Pause the video at any point to jot down your plans in the worksheet. In Part 2, Barbara talks about assembling an emergency documents checklist; page 2 of the worksheet corresponds to this part of the workshop. Take this step to make sure every family member knows what to do when the worst happens.
